Tickets are now on sale for the Greater Cedarburg Foundation’s 12th annual Community Gala, which will be held Saturday, Sept. 23, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Columbia St. Mary’s Curling Center at the Ozaukee County Fairgrounds.
The event, which is a major fundraiser for the GCF, will include entertainment by the Cedarburg Civic Band and keyboardist Gary Haseley, a cocktail hour, an elegant buffet dinner and an auction featuring original artwork from two well-known local artists: Mary Ellen Mueller and Susan Hale.
Last year’s event reached its capacity at the Ozaukee Pavilion, which is why the event is being moved next door to the Curling Center. The Gala will be held before the Curling Center ice is installed, allowing the facility to accommodate up to 300 people.
“The 2016 gala drew over 200 people and raised $70,000 for our philanthropic efforts,” said Joe Fazio, foundation president. “My goal is to exceed $100,000 this year.”
The presenting sponsor is PyraMax Bank. Signature sponsors are BMO Harris Bank, Commerce State Bank, Partnership Bank, Port Washington State Bank and Answerport. Patron sponsors include Bank Mutual, Husch Blackwell, Levy and Levy Attorneys at Law, Michael Best & Friedrich, Olsen’s Piggly Wiggly, Pioneer Pet and Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren Attorneys at Law.
Tickets, at $100 each, are available on-line at cedarburgfoundation.com or by calling 262-377-7338.
