Thank You to the Founders and All of Our Donors!
Hundreds of donors have helped support the Greater Cedarburg Foundation over the years. The Foundation Endowment Fund of more than $3,000,000 has grown thanks to the contributions made by families, individuals, businesses and organizations. The Foundation recognizes our founders, donors, and Legacy Society members at celebrations such as the annual Civic Award evening and the Fall Gala and in the Spring newsletter.
The Legacy Society Honoring the Memory of Donald B. Rintelman recognizes as members those who have made an outright gift of $10,000 to the Foundation or who have named the Foundation as a beneficiary in a will, annuity, insurance policy or other device.

The GCF Legacy Society Honoring the Memory of Donald B. RintelmanThe Legacy Society was created to recognize people in the community who make a major commitment to the assets of the Greater Cedarburg Foundation. Mr Rintelman, slated to become the Foundation president for 2006 until his untimely death in an automobile accident, was a staunch supporter the Foundation and worked tirelessly to advance support for artistic, cultural, and community service projects that enrich Cedarburg’s civic vitality. To become a member of the Legacy Society, benefactors can make an outright gift of $10,000 or more or they may name the Foundation as the beneficiary of a deferred gift option. Such options include wills, IRAs, charitable remainder trusts, pooled income funds, life insurance policies and gift annuities. Members of the Legacy Society will experience special benefits, including recognition in Foundation publications, invitations to special Foundation events and celebrations, and access to staff for on-going future charitable giving. Those donating outright gifts having a value of $10,000 and those naming the Community Foundation as a beneficiary in their wills, a beneficiary of a charitable lead trust or a charitable remainder trust or the irrevocable beneficiary of a life insurance policy automatically become members of the Community Foundation’s Legacy Society and are listed as such in the Foundation’s publications. |
