2020 Virtual Gala
Day 2!
Welcome to the 2nd day of our Virtual Gala Celebration! Yesterday, we showcased GCF’s Brick and Mortar Projects, which our community has so generously helped support. Thanks to all who already have made a donation – we appreciate every single one. We couldn’t further our mission without you.
Today, we focus on Community Projects – smaller groups of people who come together and request funding for projects that enhance our community. Past recipients include the Cedarburg Robotics team, the Cedarburg Train Depot via the Cedarburg Historical Society, and Cedarburg Music Festival’s Summer Sounds.
The spotlight today is on the Willowbrooke CommUNITY Playground. A group of neighborhood volunteers and The Cedarburg Friends of Parks and Recreation joined together last year to raise funds, purchase create, and install new playground equipment that serves people of all abilities. With community support, the Greater Cedarburg Foundation helped make it happen.
